Church on the Go: Thanksgiving

On Sunday, November 23rd, we are excited to have a special service with a unique opportunity to serve our community!

We’ll begin by gathering for our regular worship service, and then, after the message, we’ll release everyone to participate in something special. Here’s how it works:

Church on the Go is partnering with City of Refuge to provide Thanksgiving meals to families in need. Here’s how you can get involved:

1. After the service, you’ll be given a box and a list of food items needed for a complete Thanksgiving meal.
2. Head to Kroger to purchase the items on the list (the total cost is between $50-$60 for the whole list). It is not required to purchase all the items all the items on the list.
3. Once you have everything, bring your box to one of the designated trucks in the Kroger parking lot. Our team will be there to collect the boxes and note your name.
4. On Monday, we’ll drop the boxes off at City of Refuge. Church on the Hill will pick up the Chick-fil-A coupons for everyone who donated, and they will be ready to be picked up at Church on the Hill on November 26th or December 1st.

This is a wonderful, hands-on way to give back this Thanksgiving, and it's a great opportunity for families and individuals to serve together.
